if facebook really wanted to pay its users back......they could have shared the ad revenue.....this looks only like speculation.

Yeh, speculation was stated once or twice. Did you read before commenting?
Sharing ad revenue would in fact be a great idea - a simpler solution. But if they introduce a crypto they won't have to share. And can earn more money for themselves by pre-mining hodling their own currency.
I Read your article and saw speculation mentioned there, i should have said pure speculation earlier , looks more like a false rumor to me, i don't think a facebook coin is ever gonna materialize in reality.
