Tether printed 1 billion USDT on TRON

What happened? On February 22, Tether, the issuer of the largest centralized steibloin on the cryptographic market, USDT, printed 1 billion tokens on the TRON network. This is the third issue of stable coins for the current month. The first two billion USDT were released on February 13 also at the TRON blockchain.

What else is known? The emission of new USDT tokens is carried out against the background of problems with the Bance USD ( BUSD ) stem from the issuer Paxos. On February 13, the New York State Department of Financial Services ( NYDFS ) ordered Paxos to stop issuing new BUSD. The US Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC ) stated that BUSD is an unregistered security and intends to hold Paxos accountable for issuing an asset and violating investor protection laws.

On February 22, BUSD's Binance rate, paired with the DAI stemloin, temporarily fell to $ 0.2 due to a $ 647,000 sale order. The dressing could be caused by a lack of liquidity or a pricing error.

What is known about Tether? This is the largest stemloin issuer in the cryptocurrency market. USDT, pegged to the US dollar, ranks third in the overall cryptocurrency rating with a capitalization of $ 70.7 billion, according to CoinGecko aggregator on February 23.
