Regarding BAT, I wouldn't underestimate the challenge of going into competition with Google...
But, I'm glad I now know about Brave! I'll check it out.
That's true in a way.
Although BAT is Very different from Google
Google Chrome is slower and has all the ads so that's where Brave has an advantage, In time, with improvements I believe Brave will be a better Browser overall!
As of The Search engine Google, BAT has an advantage in Technology as well.
See Google can not Track Your Visit To every website, and See where you spend time and how much time you spend there.
Google can not Laser-Target you since it doesn't Enough know about you!
