Is Github A Good Indicator For CryptoCurrency Progress? Maybe.

An interesting post on Reddit. Code comes in all shapes and forms, and more does not equate with better, just with more. There is plenty of lengthy code that is just poorly written/formatted. This question was posted on HPB's [High Performance Blockchain] Reddit.

How come HPB has less then 150 commits on github? Your counterpart EOS has over 3500 and dan larimer has 237 by himself. As an investor, this worries me and I hope development is being shown on some other open source site. Please help me understand if I am missing anything ?

Ha. Most you guys probably never knew GitHub existed a few months ago, now everyone uses it as a standard for a good project. I would probably even go as far to say most of you don't even know what a commit is. What happens if one commit adds 10,000 lines of code and the next 10,000 commits all deleted one line of code, would you be happy then? If you're worried about commits maybe check out TRX. They have 1500 commits which account for 31,000 lines of code. Or you could compare that with HPB -> BOE which has 82 commits and 334,000 lines of code.

*Source: https://github.com/hpb-project . Click on the BOE for the full code.

*Please check my work.... I am fallible.
