A place to meat and greet

I took a lunch meating with a Hollywood pal in May, 2005.

we have a tendency to talked movies, and that we talked meat. Meat, meat and a lot of meat.

Tri-tip. Pepper steak. Garlic steak. Beef kabob. high sirloin.

It’s (almost) all regarding meat once you’re at Amazon Churrascaria in Fullerton (in Orange County, Calif.). Churrascaria are a very Brazilian mixture of barbecue and steakhouse, that includes waiters who ramble the area bearing sword-length skewers, every loaded with a piece of meat, still steaming hot from the open-flame grill tucked into the kitchen.

Brazilian touches extend to the decor. A falls cascades down a wall facing the front door. pretend jungle plants, and crypto jungle-ruin panels cowl the walls. It created American state think about the kid-favorite timber restaurant chain, sans roaring animatronics, flashing lights and corporate-restaurant mega-merchandising.

A curious bit of the yank Middle West dominates the center of the big restaurant, that has served in former lives as a Chinese buffet and a rustic hotel buffet. A bar of sorts, the sort fashionable in urban center within the ’80s, harbors mayo-based salads, three-bean salads, cheap breads, some soups....
