I agree, I think LTC today is a perfect example. The general population's growing interest in Bitcoin as an investment opportunity has added a lot of new investors who want to learn more about this "weird crypto thing" their kid told them about. Since most of these new investors are using Coinbase, ETH and LTC are the safe bets but I think a lot of altcoins are due for a moonshot soon.
