if he accepted through bitpay, chances are the money got cashed out immediately into fiat and he does not have the 700 bitcoins
but i'll bet if someone told him the price of bitcoin he'll be looking around wondering where his 9 million dollars is
you can be a supporter of bitcoin and still have absolutely no idea how it works and how to use it :(
