How Bitcoins led me to Steemit.
I'm a newbie who only learned the origins of BITCOINS last night or maybe I've heard about them at some time or another and just don't remember. Either way, I'm really far behind and admittedly skeptical when cyber currency is involved. But when a friend of a friend started buying bitcoins at 20 to 1 nearly a decade ago and now has a value worth somewhere in the millions, because I've been told, they are now worth around 1000 to 1. "Wow!" I thought to stupid myself. With this new information spiralling curiosity "dans ma tête," his tale helped lead me back to Steemit. A social networking platform I've only heard of last week when an old Facebook friend who I barely knew suggested that I try curating content in exchange for money. What's my point here? I didn't show any interest for Steemit up until last nights conversation about generating legalised cryptocurrencies spun up this newfound momentum...
So Steemit, you have another Steemer on board. Nice to meet you.
Whats your story in short? How'd you get here?
