INTRODUCTION

Hello steemian, I have been thinking about cryptocurrencies lately and I thought about the first cryptocurrency I actually acquired; the steem. Looking at the cryptocurrencies we've got on blockchain networks, it is clear that the economy of the crypto world is just like our normal world economy (economy determined by our centralized currencies like the U.S dollar, Naira, Pound, Euro, Kuwait etcetera). We all know that centralize economy improved with the commercial activities that generate a form of revenue. What I am trying to say is that economy grows with medium scale business or firms that operate in the economy. And we also know that for such businesses to run effectively in an economy there must be some form of basic amenities needed to run these businesses like good and steady electricity, water, transportation provision which include good roads and many more. Bringing this to the crypto world, we know that the most valued cryptocurrency is the Bitcoin. Then my question is, will the Steem be much valuable like the Bitcoin? How are we to make it more valuable? Can the steem be acceptable worldwide without converting it to some other form of cryptocurrencies like the Bitcoin? What are the medium scale businesses we are putting in place to make sure the steem become valuable in the nearest future? In this my article, I have decided to bring to us some of my ideas.

THE PROBLEM

Trying to distribute the steem is one thing I think the Steemit community is doing very right. For a currency to be acceptable in many other countries, it has to be in the hands of those countries you want it to be accepted by. But the problem is, how do we distribute this currency to as many as possible individuals we can? Not everyone is on Steemit.

MY IDEA

For me, I would suggest that the steem be given as a form of loan to small scale business in different countries that cryptocurrencies are accepted. These medium scale businesses help their country’s economy to improve. By the time Steem is given and exchanged with those countries’ local currencies, it will have more value because more people would want to take “Steem loan”. So, if the steem can develop a platform that medium scale businesses; I mean real world businesses can tap into the steem by taking it as loan, I think the steem will raise appreciably.
