Ethereum Breaking News 20th March 2017: Darknet Marketplace AlphaBay will soon Integrate & Enable Ethereum Payments
News reports announce that one of the most well-known dark market, Alphabay is looking to add support for Ethereum in the coming weeks
A moderator for AlphaBay – one of the world's most popular dark markets, according to data from DeepDotWeb – took to Reddit over the weekend to announce that it would integrate ether payments beginning on 1st May
We are currently laying out the framework to make ETH acceptance possible, and we will enable Ethereum deposits and withdrawals starting May 1st, 2017.
Vendors wishing to accept Ethereum can edit their listings and set the "Accept ETH" to "On" in order to be able to be paid in Ethereum

Now the Internet's largest Dark Web marketplace AlphaBay announced upcoming support for Ethereum, the cryptocurrency that recently is giving Bitcoin a running for today's most popular digital currency, as it's currently has the second largest Market Cap, ranking Ether the 2nd most valuable Cryptocurrency
AlphaBay is now looking at Ethereum as an additional payment option next to Bitcoin (BTC) and Monero (XMR.) It remains unclear how many vendors will accept ETH payments, though, but this a positive development for the Ethereum ecosystem as a whole
Monero price spiked when Alphabay accepted the Cryptocurrency as a medium of payment, perhaps Ethereum is likely to spike in price in the upcoming weeks whereas it's uncertain whether Ethereum offers more Anonymity when compared to digital currencies like Bitcoin & Monero
Ethereum has little to offer in terms of privacy when compared to Bitcoin & Monero, however Ethereum rising support has resulted in many upcoming services being established on the Ethereum Network that may offer their Customer greater anonymity & privacy when using Ether as a medium of exchange
