THE EVOLUTION OF FACTOM AS A TOKEN

Factom (FCT): I talked about Mith token yesterday, but never knew that there are still more potential tokens out there that can elevate one's status in his or her community. It is a decentralised, open-source cryptocurrency platform which was officially launched on the 1st of September 2015 and costs as low as $3 and was not listed on coinmarketcap then when it first came out but it's worth $28.25 and is on 90th position at the time of filling this report. Their telegram group which started with just 430 members now has a population of over 36,500 members not to talk of their Twitter account that has over 77,000 followers within this short period of existence. The factom community is however said to be gaining more popularity on a daily basis.
It Does not work like bitcoin whose blockchain is used for currency transactions only, but comes with an enhanced blockchain that allows anyone to add new entries to the blockchain, including contracts and agreements in the form of scripts and applications. That is to say that, Factom creates an additional a record-keeping system on top of the blockchain. As an incentive to maintain the network and to distribute the blockchain, Factom issues "factoids", or tokens that can be traded on cryptocurrency exchanges.

We all know that it took bitcoin 10 years to be where it is right now but the factom crew have been able to achieve more within the short period of time they have been in existence.

Factom has its own blockchain and they are launching a fork on erc20 token wallet now. That is what they mean by the Milestone 3 governance.

Blockchain, they say is a game changer but I say, FACTOM is the real game changer because of the massive turn up in the distribution of their tokens. It's just unbelievable how they managed to get to this level that they have attained.
