Crypto Portfolio Tracker (finally something decent)

in #crypto6 years ago

I've used many crypto portfolio trackers and they were all bullshit or semi - bullshit.

They were either too confusing, pulled prices that were utterly incorrect, showed zillions of transactions that were hard to make sense of ,   or semi- bullshit - less confusing, indicated buys and sells  rolled up neatly into a single view, correct pricing , but one had to manually enter buy and sell prices which is irritating and error-prone,  no pie chart, no decent colour scheme, no coin symbol ,  basically no prettiness - a rarity  in crypto land.

 That is until i found Coins.live ( https://coins.live)

It is dead easy to use, pulls pricing directly from CoinMarketCap , neat single view of transactions including buys and sells, automatically inputs buy and sell prices when you make a trade  (with reasonable accuracy). No API connections needed.

It also shows your profit PER COIN from the DATE YOU PURCHASED IT - NOT the daily price movement as so many other trackers do.This way you can see exactly how much you are up or down per coin from the date you bought it.I know shit of technical analysis, so this helps me decide when to buy , sell or hold. When I do learn eventually TA , still nothing beats basic business  - sell at a profit - and this is exactly what it shows.

The pie chart is a mfkn wonderful quick view showing Coin name and percentage of portfolio.Nice.

Your portfolio can also be viewed on your mobile phone , by downloading the CoinMarketCap app then selecting portfolio. It syncs between your pc and mobile.Nice.

The downside is you can only create a single portfolio per email you use to login.

As of today ( 02 March 2018) I have been using it for month. It's newish so expect improvements.

So far ,so good.

Good luck out there!
