Crypto for what? Where we can use crypto in real world

Hi, my name is William Wilson (https://xdatawatchen.wordpress.com), I'm a student of philosophy and I love to research on economy, market, crypto, psicology, a little bit of humor. I'd like to invite you to follow my blog. Thank you!

We don’t like crypto-winds, i.e. cryptocurrencies that don’t seem to serve for any purpose and are just speculation, just developers selling wind (https://brandy-becker.medium.com/what-is-fake-cryptocurrencies-and-how-to-identify-them-2863c715dc9b). Metaverse is what for? We don’t know what is it. And what about NFTs? So strange thing… So one of the tasks of xdata.watch is to stay up-to-date about companies that use crypto in the real world.

In fact, when we dig into the websites of big crypto projects, they usually don’t advertise the use of their coins for anything. Projects like Ethereum, Solana, Terra, should, on their home pages, have lists of companies and stores around the world that accept their coins, but we rarely see this. We have to search about on Google, Bing, etc.

What can we do with crypto? What can we buy with crypto?

The question remains: why would I pay bills with cryptocurrencies, which are volatile? Wouldn’t it be better to pay in cash, such as dollars or euros? Imagine I’m going on a trip to Malaysia and I take $10,000 in cryptocurrencies. However, when I get there, I find out that my cryptocurrencies are only worth $8,000.

If you are an entrepreneur, be creative and use the volatility of cryptocurrencies to your advantage. Since so many people are buying stablecoins like Tether, USD Coin, TerraUSD, BUSD, this might be a good idea.

Beware the fact that those infos below can be outdated.

A little bit far from crypto markets discussions, there are a lot of companies working on Hyperledger projects. Other big companies also uses Ethereum, Ripple, Algorand, etc.

But there are cryto projects on CoinMarketCap list that promise to solve real problems:

IOTEX (https://iotex.io/)

Should we buy those tokens?

If we talk about investments, it’s a good idea to buy crypto about the real world projects? Let’s try to see what happens in 1 – 5 years. But invest in blockchain/crypto companies IPOs could be a good idea too.

NFT is underutilized

What usage of NFT? Just sell art? No, NFT is an terrific tool to be studied and applied to many industries.

Check this:

NFT in supply chain (https://www.foley.com/en/insights/publications/2021/11/not-by-the-same-token-nfts-in-supply-chain).

We’ll keep researching.
