Disable iCloud backup for Metamask!

If you use cryptocurrency wallets on your iOS devices, we recommend disabling backups in iCloud❗️

One user recently shared his story on Twitter [https://twitter.com/revive_dom/status/1514751885126914051] about losing $655k in theft from his Metamask wallet.

👁🗨 The scammers used a fake Apple ID and called the victim, asking for a code sent to a phone number.

After receiving the code, they reset the Apple ID password and gained access to the account. He was logged into Metamask through a bakap.

Because of this, MetaMask recommends disabling iCloud backups:

🌐 Settings - Apple ID -iCloud - Manage storage - Backups - Select device - Show all apps - Select wallet app - Turn off and delete.

For all cryptocurrency wallets we recommend you can disable the backup feature: Settings > Apple ID/iCloud > iCloud > iCloud Backup.
