Testing BetterHash - The Easiest Way to Earn Crypto by Selling Your PC Hashing Power [tutorial]
Hi Guys,
NiceHash, after being hacked, still struggles to reopen the service so I decided to test the alternative called BetterHash and I was pleseantly suprised!
Let's take a look at the service and how to set it up.

You start by making a new account - it's really easy, you just have to enter your email and password - link to account creation.
Next download the BetterHash client here.
The installation is simple and fast:
After the installation BetterHash will automatically download required miners.
Next the service will automatically start and benchmark your PC - this is needed to determinate which mining algorithm to use. It will also show you how much USD you will be making daily on your system.
After the benchmarking is complete the app will save the most profitable settings and start to mine :) You can check the active miners by clicking the middle top button - Current Activity:
As you can see, on my old intel i3 and downlocked Geforce 970 I would be making about $1.9 USD daily.
Now, I don't wont the stress the i3, it won't mine much anyway, so I will disable the CPU miner. I can do it by going to Settings -> Miners and unchecking the CPU algorithm:
One last thing before you can let the miner work - log in so your payouts will be assigned to your account. You can do by going to Setting -> Payments and clicking the Assign button:
So, if you're logged in and you have chosen the miners you want to use - you're ready to go! Of course you can still use your PC while mining, just remember it will get warmer in the room ;)
As for the most important part - the payouts, you have to login on the BetterHash website and go to Transfers:
Here you can transfer your mined coins directly to you your wallet or to exchange website, like Bittrex or Poloniex, to sell them.

If you haven't check it out yet, the new version allows for mixed GPU rigs, like mine! Now you can mine with AMD and Nvidia cards at the same time.

I did some research and found out they were a software company in my own country, did more research and found out that they actually do good software and that they don't expect to win money out of this, so fees are lower than even markets. As i did use Minergate before and they robbed me of 20% of my hash this will be a nice change.
