The Land of ICOs

One must be cautious when dealing with what is too-good-to-be-true. ICOs have a hint of opportunity around them, almost imagining the possibilities the future holds. This is dangerous when giving up your hard-earned crypto. In fact, one could even consider this an attack.

When the security becomes so successful that it no longer is profitable to attempt to crack the security, what do you attack? You attack the person. Social engineering. And in this case, that is us. Our desire to get on board with something that becomes extremely successful. People can exploit this and you would be none the wiser. There is no promise in ICO-land that your spent Ether will return a profit.

Ether may even outperform the ICO we wasted coins on. Who knows.

My point with this isn't to say don't spend on ICOs. What I want to accomplish is a reminder that you are the weakest link. No one can rip the bitcoin from your Trezor unless you allow them to. Is the ICO worth it?
