This will be a new segment where I will give some my opinion and brief insight why I think this news is important for the world of crypto.

Binance: Overwhelming Demand Leads to Creation of DEX:

Basically Binance is creating a hybrid "Decentralized/ Centralized" exchange called "Binance Chain." It will focus on the Binance Coin (BNB) having its own mainnet. Essentially it will switch from an ERC20 token and run on its own blockchain while being the native token on this new hybrid "CDEX."

Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, has said:

"After extensively researching decentralized exchange frameworks and analyzing existing implementations, we believe significant improvements can be made in providing Binance users with a level of trading experience to which they are already accustomed. Centralized and Decentralized exchanges will co-exist in the near future, complementing each other, while also having interdependence." He also claims that Decentralized Exchanges won't replace Centralized Exchanges anytime soon. He claims we will still rely on current "CEX" for the next decade at least.

With new Decentralized Exchanges coming out everyday, we are going to see a big change in how cryptocurrencies are exchanged on the market. My favorite three coming out soon happen to be on the NEO platform (NEX, Switcheo, and APHELION). I feel like this is going to be a big year for NEO!

China’s IT Ministry Wants A Blockchain Standard System ‘As Soon As Possible:

The Ministry of IT (Information and Software Services Division) and the China Electronics Standardization Institute are getting serious about the formation of a standard Blockchain system for all of China. With NEO already being on good terms with the Chinese government, this is epic news for NEO. Companies like Ontology, Walton Chain, Matrix.AI and VeChain are are in a fantastic positon for an opportunity such as this to occur.
