Chris Dunn Brings Crypto Mining to a real Mining Town by Sunscape
This is absolutely the craziest, yet creative way to incorporate modern crypto mining in an old ghost mining town.

Cerro Gordo sits at 8,500 feet elevation between the highest point in the U.S. (Mount Whitney) and the lowest elevation (Death Valley). In the 1800s, the town's mine extracted about $500 million worth of silver and is responsible for much of Los Angeles's success today.
Last year, my friend Brent and his business partner Jon bought Cerro Gordo for $1.4M with the goal of turning it into a luxury travel destination. And part of the revitalization includes bringing cryptocurrency mining to the old abandoned mine shaft.
In this video, I talk with Brent about his plans for the town, and we search deep within the mine shafts to find a suitable place to set up a mining rig.
Enjoy the video as it is very interesting and I think it will be a huge success.
Until next time, this is Sunscape...
Sun. Scape. Ing your day
It blows me away someone who knows them would be on Steemit. I am a former caretaker for Cerro Gordo and close friend to the current caretaker Robert. I actually spent last new years with Brent and Jon on the mountain and had a blast. I have not been on steemit in months but this post pulled me from the ashes to comment. Thank you for posting this.
Wow, how great is that! I saw that video and thought it was so creative. I can see that being a huge success for the team. I bet that many crypto lovers would have a fantastic time in an atmosphere like that.
I am so glad you saw the post and I hope that many others do as well. It is a project worth getting the word out for.
Unique idea utilizing an old mining area, the mine shaft would be a cool area to go with modern day mining as well.
Bring history back for all to enjoy, reviving old with new a lovely concept @sunscape
I really thought that was a very unique idea. It would be right up a lot of crypto men's ally today.
