How to store BIG MONEY

in #crypto8 years ago (edited)

So you've made BIG MONEY

either through crypto trading, or
other ways, like STEEM. What do
you do with it NOW?

Well, you store it. There are many ways
to store your crypto currency. The most
popular way, is to keep it in an exchange.
This is HORRIBLE. YOU should STOP.

Exchanges can, and will, close their doors and steal your COINS.

Here's the proof.

"At the very least 36 bitcoin exchanges have already thrown in the towel and folded up shop. You may only be able to count the number of bitcoin exchanges that you've heard of on one hand, but the world is absolutely full of defunct bitcoin exchanges, and they’re apparently quite hard to keep profitable."

Use hard wallets instead

Instead of using exchanges to store your coins, you can use software to make your own wallets, that you can keep on your phone, tablet, computer, flash drive, and even your TOASTER!

By doing this you can turn a digital currency into something physical!
Imagine having a piece of paper that's worth 10 BITCOIN!
Well you can do it!

Here's the proof!

"Bitcoin wallets come in a variety of forms. There are five main types of wallet: desktop, mobile, web, paper and hardware. Here’s how they work."

I hope I've proven that exchanges are not banks. You cannot trust them like you trust a bank.

If you need further help, watch this.

If YOU want to know whether your altcoin supports Hard Wallets. I suggest clicking here
