Give me two things in common between Jamie Dimon and JP Morgan? They work/owned for the same organisation. Each of them made a big splash with their comments based upon the financial sector.

110 years of difference, but both have deepened a crisis and maybe both will profit about it. One has done so and still it is remembered has a game changer in our time. It’s a funny fact that I don’t believe a lot of people will know or remember this.

In resume, in 1907 JP Morgan called the chance of bankruptcy of a lot of banks in the east of United States. These banks were down on their knees since customers where making lines to withdraw their assets and the stock value of the banks were dropping sharply. A few big financier of the time then saved the banks form bankruptcy and later on made humongous profits of the cheap cost of buying these banks and kept them preciously for a life time afterward.

It’s not finish because what happened after 1907 is incredible.

In 1913, they created the FED a decentralized central bank. What a funny and appealing situation that they called it the same way in that era of what we call the Bitcoin or the Blockchain technology. The person in charge of the banks elects who’s in charge of the Fed. That president of the FED have an equal impact than the president of USA since it’s overseeing the monetary policies. Good thing that this decentralization exists since Trump would have had too much power. I tremble at night with the thought of him will all the power that this would represent.

Did you know that the banks that were bought at a cheap price during the panic received rights to vote for the elections of the FED? So in other words : A crisis happened and the one who deepened it made huge profits and have gain a lot of vote in the most important institution of our time. Isn’t that how blockchain works? More votes let you have a more impact on decision made by the blockchain system. Same as the the good old FED. More bank you control, more impact on the next president and more impact on the next president well …

In conclusion, we can easily see the parallel that is happening. A new idea and new direction of a society are always are precede by vast disinformation in order to gain access to the power. I do believe we are living the biggest one of the 21th century.
