EOS Network Launches A Multi-Million Staking Rewards Pool For Stakers
The EOS Network has launched a new staking program that will distribute approximately 250 million EOS tokens over a 4-year period to users who stake their EOS tokens. This program aims to enhance the EOS blockchain's functionality, security, and community engagement.

- Extended unstaking period from 4 to 21 days, improving ecosystem stability and security
- Simplified staking participation with a user-friendly interface and no voting requirements
- Enhanced block producer incentives with additional network-generated fees
- Annual output of 31.25 million EOS tokens from the Staking Rewards Bucket
- Structured reward system to ensure sustained engagement from token holders and promote a more active community
The staking program was launched on July 8, 2024, and the first 250 million EOS tokens began flowing into the staking pool. Users can stake their EOS to start earning rewards, unstake after a 21-day waiting period, and claim their rewards.
