A Trojan Horse from Big Banks and Government Or a giant leap towards mass adoption?
Don’t be tricked by convenience! If we look around all aspects of life this philosophy holds strong, convenience comes with a price. It’s always wrapped up in a shiny package with lots of colourful distraction for the unaware. From our food to everyday products and services, when something is too easy it usually means there is a hidden sacrifice.
Is this the case with crypto debit cards?
Let’s think about it… to actually use it freely we need to agree to the KYC/AML terms and register with every piece of information that connects us to the natural world including in some cases our biometric data. This is rapidly becoming the most dangerous double edge sword. It’s a fantastic idea for helping the unbanked but… who needs RFID chips when your biometric data is connected to everything. They say it is for “anti-terrorist anti money laundering” purposes. But this is open to total regulation which is where the battle of the banks kicks into second gear, if you can be linked to your crypto you can be regulated and extorted and robbed by your government in the form of taxation.
The providers of the cards have to agree to supply any information requested by government or authorities at the drop of a hat if requested. This can be found in the privacy policy of all card providers.
Now with the block chain each card can be connected to a person forever and instant history of every transaction open to review by any tax authority or Government. Completely un deniable!
In some cases, these card companies use third parties for the KYC process. Who owns the companies? How much are these companies to acquire? If the resource becomes valuable enough to the banks they can find ways to revoke your approval? Even if this is not the case and you have not already freely put all your data online there will be a massive data base with all this information that must be surrendered without a fight legally to any government request and that can be tracked for every penny you ever owned in the crypto verse no matter how many different cards you use. This makes life very easy for them and is the exact opposite of what crypto is.
So, the question is… if mass adoption starts with these cards and the majority of the general population continue to use the debit card as a way to spend crypto could this lead to total control of the money supply? Enforcing regulation on retailers not allowing direct crypto payments. The retail industry not up taking the means to spend crypto directly without a card. Even worse what if the governments implement restrictions away from this form enforcing a registration process to accept all crypto. For example, if you want to spend crypto in a shop without a card you will need to use your biometric data in the payment machine instantly linked back to the data base instant control of the money supply.
Then the banking and government forms of crypto will arrive with big shiny colourful incentives to use there crypto and cards. This will eventually lead us to the same point we have been blindly herded towards up to now. The cashless society with full monetary control and taking away the very power crypto is granting us in the first place. Let’s continue our move away from our current slavery and not fall for another honeypot.
The price good men pay for indifference to public affairs is to be ruled by evil men and those who tell the stories rule society. Plato
Let’s continue the exodus towards our freedom before it’s too late. Take back your freedom and take control of your money supply, using the blockchain and systems yet to come, let’s make Government and Central banking obsolete but always think. Like anything in life if it seems too easy there must be a catch.
Spread the wealth to the many, share your knowledge wisely and let’s change together allowing the people to remove poverty and war.
Poverty is the parent of revolution and crime. Aristotle
So, let’s take it from the few and share it with the many.
Let’s change society and one day perhaps our children’s grandchildren will ask their parents… What was war?
