Earn Free Crypto While Getting Free Images for Your Steemit Blog
About a week ago, I began using Presearch's beta software. You can earn free crypto tokens (PRE) just by making your online searches through Presearch instead of your current search engine. In fact, you can even use your favorite search engine, you just have to access it through Presearch.org.
You can earn a maximum of 8 PRE tokens each day, and at the moment, you get .25 PRE for every search you make. So far, I've earned 51.5 PRE, which are currently valued at about $0.32 each.

You can edit your default search engines to whichever ones you want.
Mine are currently: Duck Duck Go, Google, Amazon, Wikipedia, Presearch, Pexels, Youtube, and Yahoo Finance.
What's great about this is you can earn crypto for doing almost anything online!

- Want to search for free images for your Steemit blog on Pexels? Get .25 PRE!
- Want to look something up on Google? Get .25 PRE!
The tokens really start to add up when you use Presearch as your home base for whatever you want to look up.
I use it every time I'm writing a Steemit post to find free images on Pexels. I might make a dozen Pexels.com searches for a single post, and I receive .25 PRE for every single one of them, as long as the search originates from Presearch.
Search for photos of "happy"
Return to Presearch, and search for photos of "yellow"
Just like that, I earned .5 more PRE Tokens!

I have a question if I may : where does the PRE coin derive its value from ? Why is it valuable?
Like other cryptos, the price is ultimately going to be determined by investors and traders. But why invest? One might argue that it's worth the investment because advertisers are going to be buying PRE tokens to advertise on presearch.org, which will create real-world demand for them.
Well, Search engine ads is a huge market. That is a good idea if they are able to pull it out.

I use presearch on mobile all the time. In fact, I even put a shortcut to it on my iPhone home screen.

It's not pre-ico, they're in the distribution phase right now. They are listed on coinmarketcap.

This could be defined as one of those "killer apps" for crypto and signed up more out of curiosity, then anything. Thank you for posting and bringing it to our attention (Up voted). The only issue is, why the wait time to get "accepted" by the program (should be automated) and why doesn't the company understand the benefit of a referral link?
The link I put in this post is technically a referral link, but I don't get any benefit out of it because they aren't offering any incentives for referrals at the moment. I did, however, have a chat with a support rep a few days ago who said they might add some referral program within the next few weeks.
Maybe their servers can only handle so much traffic at the moment, so they need to monitor how many people are trying their beta software? Or maybe they want to make sure it's not bots signing up just to make fake searches and get free tokens? I'm not sure. The last friend I referred got approved the next day.
You bloody deserve a huge referral commission from this one, I can imagine this being used by a lot of Steemians, including myself!

Are these tokens on any exchange?
Yes, a few. The exchange they do the most volume on is HitBTC, although it's not much volume yet. They're still in the distribution phase and have a lot of development left to do.
Pretty cool, so I assume the account is free to sign up and they give you the coins as a reward for using their search engine?
Attention is worth a lot. Facebook is worth billions and they keep all the profits for our attention and information. It’s about time we get some of those profits. Facebook is nothing without its users.

I have a feeling that's going to change with blockchain tech. I think Steem's SMTs will help expedite the process of people demanding something for their time and attention.

I've been rocking presearch for over a week now and I'm up to 32ish tokens for doing nothing! I really should check out some of the other features you mentioned.
Isn't it great? I'm not really changing any of my browsing habits and am earning some crypto for doing what I was already doing.
