Yes, there are "rumors" that it is not running smoothly. But I'm pretty sure that the developers will find a way and will not stop developing just because of a single hurdle. If you transferred bitcoin recently, you'll notice that the transaction fees and speed is significantly lower than before the testing of LN. I don't know if this is really the effect of LN or just because the volume of transaction since the dip is much lower. Anyways, we all love cryptos.
