I bought a Ledger Nano S

It was time! I started investing in cryptocurrencies in October and I needed a solution to secure all this money. I first try other solutions then told to myself that investing some euros was probably the best solution to not get any bad surprise. I plan to hold a majority of my crypto so I need a secure way to keep them for months or maybe years.

I opted for the Ledger Nano S because I heard a lot of good thing about it and moreover, it's the cheaper one (with a screen). It costed me 83 € with the shipping fee and it took only 4 open days to get it (the product comes from France and I live in Belgium so that's maybe why it was so fast).

It comes in a very neat little package:

In the box, this is also very neat with a package like Apple does. When you open the box you are in front of the Ledger and the rest is behind it. With the ledger, you also have a MicroUSB cable, some ties to carry it and documentation.

They also provide a card to write down your recovery phrase. This is of course very important and you need to put that in a very secure place (like a safe).

Now my cryptos are secure and I'm not afraid of a possible loss or a hack. I can sleep well again :p
