Bitcoin exchange Poloniex exclude from listing eight cryptocurrencies

On September 25, the Polonius cryptocurrency exchange will delisting take assets: BitcoinDark (BT CD), Bismark (HTM), Einsteinium (EMC2), GridCoin (GRC), NeosCoin (NEOS), PotCoin (POT), VeriCoin (VRC), Bitcoin Plus (XBC).

The exact reasons for the decision are not specified. However, all these assets, with the exception of BitcoinDark, are not included even in the first hundred rating CoinMarketCap. This indicates an extremely low liquidity of coins and, accordingly, low popularity in the market, which could have caused delisting.

Regarding Bitcoin Dark, representatives of the exchange indicated in the FAQ that the coin actually remained without the support of the creators. BTCD holders have the right to exchange coins for Komodo until mid-January 2018. However, at the moment almost 1.3 million BT CDS are still in circulation.

The administration of Poloniex also reminded users to close all positions on the corresponding coins before September 25.

After the delisting date, traders will have another 30 days to withdraw coins to third-party wallets.
