Since most of the mining is done in China, and the word is that the Central Bank will be moving to China (the IMF is already there if I am not mistaken), it would make sense that they are behind it. But then why are the governments of the world all confused on what to do?
Bitcoin is getting massive media attention, gone are the days when it was ignored. The bubble guys do not understand what money is. Once you understand what fiat money is, then you could begin to wrap your head around the idea that cryptocurrency is just the new money and jump on the rocket for the ride to the moon.
I watched the episode (Bitcoin Entanglement) and I found it very hilarious, at least many of its viewers would be intrigued enough to find out what bitcoins means; that is if they escaped all the mentions in the media of late.
I even saw our local news finance segment last week talk about Bitcoin, Bitcoin futures, litecoin and DASH in their rundown on the day's financial activity.
Finally BTC is actually getting some mainstream/every day coverage and this is why I think next year it will truly explode, perhaps even reach 6 figures. And this is also steemit's chance to shine, as it's the only easily accessible (to my knowledge) crypto. No need to download a wallet, no need to buy coins no nothing. Just make an account, blog and have fun :D Not to mention other benefits, like fast & zero fee transactions blah blah blah !
A bubble has several requirements and the one main requirement is missing. Wide adoption
Every bubble has wide adoption and you can't have one without it. We may get to a bubble someday but not as of yet.
