South Korea will resume crypto trading on 30th Jan 2018 . So expect green market soon as New funds will enter market .

Cryptocurrencies are extremely profitable because institutions have figured out they can abuse marketcaps. Marketcaps only have value when they are limited by liabilities or assets, otherwise they are a mirage. No other market has orderbooks as thin as cryptocurrency, where a 10 BTC price manipulation can move the marketcap up $10-20mil USD. This means the marketcap of cryptocurrencies could even hit 1 Trillion USD.

"according to research at JP Morgan, when the market cap was around $300 billion for crypto, the net inflow was around $6 billion. That means that only $6 billion was actually invested, not the $300 billion."
