The energy used to run the Bitcoin network could power more than 3.5 million US households, 1 million to run Ethereum. Those are some staggering numbers and we think that's completely unnacceptable and unsustainable. GoChain will use a small fraction of that energy ( our goal is to use 1000x less ).

GoChain utilizes POR (Proof of Reputation) instead of POW (Proof of Work). POW is well known and relies on computing power to process transactions on networks such as Ethereum. POR relies on on the reputation of the participants to keep the network secure. A participant must have a reputation important enough that they would face significant financial and brand consequences if they were to attempt to cheat the system. I think the concept is interesting I am not only going to comment and upvote the post but resteem it as well.
Considering the lower amount of energy required to run the go chain and the fact that it is based on a proof of reputation are very solid arguments to me.
I will also have a read for further information about this project. And the logo with the train is well spotted.
All in all it is pleasant to see such projects emerging from the ground.
