American payment system Aliant Payment Systems reported that it adds the functionality of Litecoin to its products. The companies started making payments in bitcoin and Ethereum in 2017.

The head of the company Eric brown said about the addition of Litecoin:

"Our customers are looking for modern ways to transfer money safely and more cheaply. Cryptocurrencies allow you to move money with all these requirements and at the same time offer the consumer more opportunities for payment. We expect that Litecoin will become a daily means of payment. Payment in Litecoin in the restaurant, bar, gas station, coffee shop and other places will be regular".

Aliant is a partner of NetCents Technology located in Vancouver. NetCents helps to integrate cryptocurrencies into payment services. As a result, the company received positive feedback from customers for adding new payment methods to the system.

The addition of Litecoin will allow the use of cryptocurrency to purchase cheap goods that were not profitable to purchase for bitcoin. Previously, only expensive goods were purchased for bitcoin.

Aliant offers a special payment terminal called Poynt terminal for retail outlets. The device has a friendly design and is convenient to use. This allows you to expand the scope of cryptocurrency, to promote this method of payment.
