A coin/token to rule them up?

Hi steemians,

I'm not sure if this would be the best place to post as there seems to be many more different ways to post and use #STEEM blockchain, I liked how the ecosystem is expanding and how this expansion could possibly pump up the #STEEM token.
I'm also afraid that it is getting more and more difficult to keep up with every different new token, steem based token, airdrop, claimdrop or basically every different coin/token or frequent client points/rewards/miles. Well, sure it seems funny that you can pretty much get a token for free now that mostly every dapp is creating a new token that could possibly be traded to steem or any other token using steem-engine as well. My concern goes as it seems that variety sure offers options, alternatives and should add value over time but there is a side effect that I believe also affected the crypto markets, the creation of new coins that pretty much loose and keeps loosing value over time.
How can #STEEM blockchain take advantage and prove history to be wrong and that an abundance of different trade-able tokens can be used to pump up and fuel up the internal #STEEM market rather than it being used as a leaking point where everyone will be hoping to get liquid #STEEM or #SBD to then transfer its value elsewhere.
Do you like the idea of more dapps, projects and tokens based on #STEEM? Do you feel that something else should be done? Can we all as a community drive #STEEM where we want it rather than creating clones, copies, forks?
