Tracking Crypto Investments using Excel Sheet and CoinMarketCap API

Hello Everyone,

I hope everyone is doing good here. I have recently started investing into crypto currencies and wanted to track all my investments at one place. Of course I can do that by using some application online but I did not find a good app which is flexible enough and provide customization options. So I have created an excel sheet to track my investments with live data from Coin Market Cap API.

The sheet is uploaded into github and you guys can download the same and use it for your investment tracking. And if you are generous enough, I have also provided some wallet IDs in the sheet for donations :). Not mandatory though.

You can find 2 sheets in github, one is for tracking in INR and another is in USD (mentioned in the name of the sheet). You guys can let me know if you want any other currency sheet.

Note: Currently this sheet is only tracking your Buy history and current price. I will be working on the selling data and profits real soon. and update it in github.

Here are few details about its working and few screenshots:

Buying Sheet:

The first table here is to capture your investments in BTC, so fill all the columns except "Price per BTC" and "Total Invested" columns. These 2 columns will fill out by a formula.

The second table is to track your coin transfers from one exchange to another or to wallets. Fill out all the columns except the last one (Fees (BTC)).

Now we come to the main table where we actually fill our coin purchases. All the alt coin purchases you make will be filled out here:

Note: The below 2 images are of the same table.

Note: The coin name and Symbol should be copied from another sheet called APIs so that the table can fetch the latest market value of that coin.

Apart from this you need to only fill out "Price / Unit", "Units" and "Exchange" columns. Rest is all calculated and filled automatically. The last few columns are the ones that will fetch the current market value from the APIs sheet and update.

After all the filling and hardwork you did, just go to the dashboard sheet and right click on anyone of the panel and click refresh.

You can filter here by Exchange, Coins etc to get more information. Please comment in the post or in github to let me know about your thoughts on this sheet and also do suggest me changes if required.
