Stellar: The Vanguard Token

Stellar Lumens, have been one of the hottest crypto currencies of 2018 thus far.

To date the primary driver of price in the crypto market has been speculation, day trading, announcing of new exchanges (liquidity), and new members joining the space. However, in the not so far future the price of these digital assets will move from speculative to a direct correlation of their real world utility - this will seperate the winners from the losers.

Why Stellar?

Stellar's mission is to connect people to low-cost financial services to fight poverty and develop individual potential. They have an incredible team/advisors across tech and finance working to make this a reality. They have also partnered with IBM, an organization with global reach who operate for profit but also for social impact.

IBM has built a global infrastructure that enables people living in poverty and remote areas to receive aid/funds in the event of disasters; hurricanes, earthquakes, and tsunamis. IBM has utilized their global reach and technical capacitiy to help track, deliver resources and aid. For Stellar, this is a natural partnership and an excellent use case for the true utility of a digital asset.

The digital asset integrated into this already established global ecosystem, is an excellent use case and an area where the speed and global connectivity of an internet of value can make a real difference in the lives of millions effected by these tragic events.

With the unfortune rise in occurence and strength of these global climatic events there will need to be a fast, efficient, cheap way to distribute and manage funds to the people in need.

Technology is a tool for improving human life, the speculation in the market is great for those getting rich and I am long on the crypto currency market in general.

It is the true utility and use case such as the one I have outlined above that we need to be focus on. How will this technology solve real world problems poverty, disease, climate displacement, and push the world into the next millenium...
