GAME TESTER IN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH SQ2 TO EXPAND USE OF GTCOIN AHEAD OF ICO
• Partnership with Singapore-based SQ2 Fintech to allow real world usage of GTCoin with debit cards Singapore, 5 February 2018 – Game Tester, the global platform that brings gamers and developers together to build better games, said today it has entered into a strategic partnership with SQ2 to promote the use of its cryptocurrency, GTCoin, ahead of its Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in March 2018.

The partnership will allow those who hold GTCoins to use them in the real world through a debit card.

Game Tester, based in Tasmania with offices in Melbourne, Cape Town and soon Singapore, was founded in 2016 by David Dobson and his brother, Paul. Its platform brings to game developers a global network of gamers to test games, rewarding them with GTCoins for the feedback they give on the games. Through the feedback gathered from players across different geographies and demographics, developers gain ongoing insight into gamers’ behaviour and are able to make improvements to the games, and be more targeted in their marketing.

Gamers can use GTCoin, an ERC 223 token generated on the Ethereum network, to buy games and gaming hardware without currency issues or hefty bank charges. To-date, Game Tester has signed up 150,000 users and intends to reach one million by April 2018.

Game Tester said at the Blockchain Economic Forum 2018 held in Singapore this week, that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with SQ2 Fintech Pte. Ltd. The Singapore fintech company will provide solutions that will permit real world usage of GTCoins. Once enabled, the technology will allow GTCoin holders to transact at retail stores through a debit card. While the merchants will receive cash, the GTCoin holders will have their GTCoin wallet debited.

Singapore-based SQ2 is a leading blockchain, IOT (Internet-of-Things), payments and platform solutions and devices provider to corporate clients.
