Binance will buy Coinmarketcap

Maybe you heard the news, Binance will buy Coinmarketcap for $400 million. I don't know what is going to happen, but I think it's not a positive development for the average user. Although Binance says Coinmarketcap will remain independent, I think there is a good chance that Binance will manipulate the data and statistics. If not for Binance itself, for the other websites, projects, networks etc that they own. Every day crypto space is becoming more and more centralised.
