CONTEST: HOW CRYPTO HAS CHANGED MY LIFE AND GIVEN ME FREEDOM
Good afternoon everyone,this is a contest by @coruscate. Yes,I went to discord room to drop my post for today when I bumped into @peacezo post of this contest,it really triggered me and want to participate seeing how she highlighted everything about her journey to the world of crypto. Here is my own journey so far and how I have gained so much freedom on it.
My life has really changed for better when I joined Steemit by my sister @estheromoyiwola. I know she really loved and cared for me that was why she brought me here. Ever since I joined,i have stopped depending on anyone for feeding or so. I lost my mum in 2016,I joined Steemit in January,2018. Since then,my dad has been taking care of me and my siblings. Though it was really tough then but thank God for my work and must really thank my sister for introducing me to steemit. My work that I do wasn't enough for me so I had to join steemit earnings to it. I became a woman who never depend on my dad for feeding or clothing. I don't disturb my dad but would also contribute to the feeding of the house through my earnings on steemit.
I never understand bitcoin until the byteball was introduced and I partake in it and converted the coin to my bitcoin,my sister told me not to touch it because it will help me later. Then later,I understood bitcoin and saw the need for me to have. Crypto has really helped me. Some of the things I did with my earnings are;
- Send my grandma some little cash
- Gave some to my dad for his business
- Bought form up to 40,000 for my education
- Gave some to my siblings
- Through my earnings,I do borrow people for somethings.

Hi @omoyiwolabusayo, congratulations on your entry to #coruscate-contest, and all the best for it. 🤞 You are much further along in your crypto journey than I am. I haven't learned yet how to "cash out" from crypto to fiat currency yet, but that will come. I am fortunate enough to live in a country with a social welfare system, even if we do moan and complain about it sometimes. This contest from @coruscate has led me to meeting a lot of new people from all around the world on the Steem blockchain, and to learn more about their situations and how crypto is helping them, and that in itself is really awesome!
If you'd like to see my entry to this competition, it is available here.
