Coinbase will NOT Add Ripple (XRP)

in #crypto7 years ago

So, Ripple is now the second largest crypto-platform in terms of market capitalization. However, Coinbase will not be adding support for it...yet. Although the company didn't explicitly mention Ripple, it did issue a generalized statement that it will not be supporting any more assets on its platform yet. We've already got a bunch of newcomers like Stellar, TRON, and Cardano that it's getting hard to keep up.

It just might be a good idea if Coinbase took its time to carefully evaluate whether it should add support for a particular coin or not. It might stand to lose in the short-term by not adding support right away, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Plus, haste makes waste!

Actually, I read some communicates in which Coinbase was explicitly against Ripple because of its difference with other real decentralized cryptocurrencies. So, if Coinbase decides to add cryptocurrencies, it probably won't be Ripple.

We should watch and hope to discover what they will add a little in advance, since that cryptocurrency will probably rise!

Ripple (XRP) has already been rising...but I like your comment because Ripple might just not be an option on Coinbase because it's centralized...
