Bank of England's Cryptocurrency

Central banks around the world have been studying cryptocurrencies. Some are even considering to issue their own digital currencies. For example, the Bank of England has put together a research team to determine if the bank should start its own crypto.

Although banks worldwide have advised against cryptocurrency, citing its volatility as a potential for great losses, banks are still interested in crypto. They want to learn more about it, especially its underlying blockchain technology.
