For merchants, it is an amazing opportunity. Compared to Paypal, crypto has no credit card fees, no charge backs, no 'Oops, we decided to hold your cash for 3-12 months while we investigate something we can't disclose.'
This happened with me, Paypal had a sudden freeze on my account claiming that I should have asked them before getting the account involved in Cryptocurrencies. I have 260 USD in there being pickled that I could only access after 6 months from now.
