My Favourite Crypto Faucet - CoinPot

COINPOT

I have been collecting cryptocurrency from numerous faucets over the past several months and wanted to share some of my findings for any of you who may be interested, specifically in this post I wanted to discuss CoinPot. I do not work for CoinPot in any way shape of form, but I am using my personal referral links below.

CoinPot is an online cryptocurrency microwallet that support five different currencies: Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, Dogecoin, and Litecoin. CoinPot is not specifically a faucet per se, funds can be accumulated in the various wallets through different means. They can be funded directly from other wallets, through the various faucets I will mention below, as well as through background CPU mining.

You will be required to register an email address that you will use to link your earns from the various faucets directly to your CoinPot account. The funds do not accumulate in the faucets but will immediately be deposited in your CoinPot account. I also highly recommend activating Two-Factor Authentication to increase the security on your account.

One of the things I have found very good about CoinPot is the lack of fees associated with converting one currency to another and the relatively low minimum withdrawal amounts (Bitcoin - 25,000 satoshi with fee or 100,000 satoshi to avoid a fee, Bitcoin Cash - 10,000 satoshi, Dash - 20,000 satoshi, Dogecoin - 50 doge, Litecoin - 200,000 litoshi) which is significantly lower than FaucetHub.

THE MOON FAUCETS

The primary faucets that are linked to CoinPot are the various Moon Faucets. There are currently four Moon Faucets (links below) for each of the currencies except for Bitcoin Cash, which is hopefully in the works. You would navigate to each Moon Faucet separately and sign-in using the email address you registered for your CoinPot account.

Each of these faucets will slowly accumulate currency that can be collected at intervals of no less than five minutes. The longer you wait to collect, the larger the amount becomes. However, the rate of accumulation of currency in each faucet decreases over time. This allows the collector to visit the site once or twice a day to collect a larger amount, rather than racing back to claim a set amount each time like with many other faucets. There is usually one redirect when making each claim followed by a single captcha.

There are several types of bonuses that can increase the amount for each claim by multiplying them by a certain percentage. The first bonus is a daily loyalty bonus that increases with every consecutive day you make a claim at the faucet. There is a referral bonus for active users you refer to the faucet. There is a mining bonus (Bitcoin only) that can multiply your earnings if you keep the faucet window open and permit passive mining through your CPU. This increases your CPU usage, but the multiplier can make a significant increase in each claim. There is also a mystery bonus for each claim that you make.

The Moon Faucets will also do weekly pay-outs for those not using a CoinPot account.

BONUS BITCOIN

Another faucet that feeds directly into CoinPot is Bonus Bitcoin: http://bonusbitcoin.co/?ref=823851F84F2E

Bonus Bitcoin is a standard Bitcoin faucet on a fifteen minute timer. You would register using the email address you used to set up your CoinPot account. The amount for each can be up to 5000 satoshi (apparently), but I usually end up getting about the posted average which fluctuates based on the value of Bitcoin. You can also select in your claim settings to receive only the average amount if you prefer consistency. This faucet will redirect you a couple of times when you try to make a call, and will only allow you to use ReCaptcha despite the link for switching to SolveMedia Captcha. This faucet can get annoying due to the redirects, but overall it is a pretty good faucet. I have also had some success with my AdBlocker to avoid the redirects, but do so at your own peril as you may end up being banned.

BITFUN

Another website that feed directly in CoinPot is BitFun: http://bitfun.co/?ref=09A53CFAAEB6

BitFun is more of game site that the others above, but it has a built in Bitcoin faucet that can be claimed every few minutes. Like the Moon Faucets, the value of the faucet claim slowly increases over time, but the rate appears to slow down as well. To make a claim navigate from the home page to "Play Games" and the faucet claim button is at the top. The claim requires a single ReCaptcha and, like Bonus Bicoin, the option to switch to Solve Media does not function. Sometimes there will also be a redirect while trying to make a claim. BitFun also includes other games and offer walls which i have not personally bothered to explore.

MINING

Collectors can also do passive mining through a web browser. I usually do this with my phone when I have a WIFI connection and access to someone else's power. From the CoinPot Dashboard, each currency has a link to an individual URL for mining directly into CoinPot. Obviously the rate of mining is very limited, but in certain circumstances it can be used to accumulate extra crypto (I usually do Litecoin or Dash).

Overall, I have found CoinPot to be very user-friendly and reliable. I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in cryptocurrency.
