Are they building hype to build hype?
Or is this to get traffic on exchanges?
Does anyone know how much EOS costs at the ICO? Wondering what the profit margins look like if we buy and then sell on exchange...
Or if any US buyers managed to use a VPN to purchase?

My wife & I both bought EOS on Bitfinex. Current price is $3.99. I bought yesterday, made a quick $ and cashed out. The developers have a solid reputation but nothing solid will come from this hype for another year.
Participating in EOS ICO only require Ethereum(Ether), which U.S. Citizen can easily buy on exchange with not limits, therefore technically you don't need a VPN.
US citizen cannot participate in ICO without VPN.
But yes they can buy EOS from exchange with ETH...
