Vault 687, belonging to the Potter family, in all fantastical regards, is a highly protected vault within a complex cavern system connected by rickety trolleys deep within the Harry Potter universe. Coated in magic spells and safeguarded by a hoard of bank goblins, these vaults are essentially magically un-thievable. Tasked with protecting the wizarding world's knuts, silver sickles, and golden galleons, the goblin mob and the deep intertwined cart tracks protect do a great job at keeping non-muggles' money safe.
Why do we trust these goblins? There seem to be a lot of them, they are organized, and they seem to be grumpy, private people. In essence, Satoshi Nakamoto has recreated J.K. Rowling's magical world on earth with crypto currency. At the very bud of its global growth, blockchain technology will one day become the most trusted and easy to use financial system we, as humans, use. Either here on earth or in a galaxy far far away. By giving the power of checks and balances directly to the people, and not just the fortunate fool, crypto users can be sure their interests are not getting inter-tangled with higher level politics or swayed outside your favor by money hunger finance bros (those excel grinders who wouldn't know how to create something that would actually help other people if it shot them in the foot).
The crypto blockchains acts as a checks and balances system to make sure the coin code and financial integrity are stable of the coins as they get traded and sent off to places around the world, soon to be galaxy. What I really appreciate about crypto coins are the built in smart contracts that many platforms have. Digital currency means no hand to hand transactions. No more getting ripped off, or robbed, or bargained too high/low. You are the creator of your own destiny and if your buyer/seller isn't interested, there is no risk in losing your money.
Before, I was told, investing in the stock market is like showing up to personally is like a minor league pitcher going up against a a big league hitter. The people working the money on Wall Street dedicate their lives and torture their first year employees to find the loopholes and gain the extra advantages in deals around the globe. Crypto will disrupt this.
It is unsure where crypto is going to take our world but I know the possibilities are endless and to learn about something that is just on the fringe of taking off is extremely exciting. May the next coin win ;)
