MAXUV & Crypto News - More Stock-to-Flow Articles on Bitcoin - 9 June 2020
I am restarting our news posts. This is for both MAPR and MAXUV and I shall try to publish every one or two days on alternating tokens. The weekly reports will obviously continue and there will be no extra news on those days.
Also as before, I shall add some general crypto news links to articles that look at research and developments within the industry. I care not a jot for lines on graphs as I can do that myself - and traditional technical analysis doesn't work very well on cryptos anyway!

MAXUV News
Today, I have bought back a few more tokens. A reminder that the buyback at 90 STEEM cents is there largely to allow those members receiving weekly distributions to sell at that price. The number of tokens initially bought back are at about, or slightly above, the value that has been distributed. However, if we see that there appears to be a backlog building up of open sell orders at or below that value, we may, at our discretion, divert some of our liquid funds to purchase them. If we ever see there is a growing and large such backlog, we may increase our weekly power-downs to meet those needs.
However, the market is there for a reason, and anybody who wishes to sell may well find a buyer who appreciates their lower price. Our interventions are designed to provide both market liquidity and some price stability, but it remains a marketplace and not a retail shop. Our standard sale price of 1 STEEM per MAXUV shall remain in place; we may sometimes offer some tokens at a discount but this will very rarely drop to below 0.95 STEEM.
