Proof of Stake (POS) Coins Experiment
I decided to do some experiments with a couple of POS coins and their promised high yield. Overall around 600$ in the game pot. So let's see if and how that goes.
- Bitbean ~135000 Beans waiting to sprout, it says 5 days to wait
- Tekcoin, ~1500000, still downloading the Blockchain
- Embercoin ~20000, I planned to buy more but this is a bit suspicious, so I canceled further orders, may drop it altogether
- InflationCoin ~570 bitdust, this has some purchase order sitting on YoBit for 1 Satoshi, not sure if someone sells when, need to wait it out. For that price it would be risk free.
I keep the wallets running on an old T61 lappy 24/7, curious what will happen when, if.

Did you calculate beforehand which amount of coins to expect by staking?
I put most in Bitbean, ~ 400$. That appears to be the most solid coin amongst them, if it does not stalk, it will still gain value in line with the market. For the others, I think there is not much that can go wrong for 1...2 Satoshis, in worst case leave it there and wait until someone picks them up. I don't know how it will work out, all of them are in the market for some years, no newcomers. They wont disappear, everything else....it's an experiment :)
For the 1-2 satoshi coins indeed not much to lose. For bitbean/bean cash I don't know...

Short update, TEK finished downloading the blockchain but the coins need 30 days to mature, so this will take a while before any results.
Got also my cheapo IFLT purchase going through, this should take 24h for these coins.
Other than that wildly fluctuating estimations of when they will stalk. Can only wait and see.
hi....what to do with my coins (ride my car) on yobit, shoud i withdrawal them into a wallet or wait for the next news...? what is your opinion ? thanx
