Christmas is over, New Year is around the corner. Congratulations to everyone invested in the crypto market, especially to those of you who took this year(or month, doesen't matter) to learn about blockchain technology, economics(if you haven't, at least read all you can about supply and demand for starters) and general cryptocurrency knowledge. For me, crypto is like discovering a whole new science and contributing to it.
We are the early adopters. We have the headstart. We made the market.
It really doesen't matter when you got into cryptos, if you took the time to read up on it, you are ahead of everyone jumping on the hype train.
In my opinion, 2018 will be the year of crypto. You can argue that the last few months are the months of crypto, but a lot of people do not have a clue what crypto is, they are just in it for the money( we all are, but some of us stay up at night reading articles and subreddits till dawn, which is mandatory in this fast crypto world). Each of us at least talked about and, thus, promoted crypto and helped it become what it is today. We should all feel proud. This is the future our children and grandchildren will take for granted, envious of us reaping the profits from the beginning( think FB before it became what it is today, yes I'm looking at you steemit! ).
My point is, learning how to trade, the market trends, which coins are genuine and which are scams, will give us a giant edge over our competitors in 2018. It doesen't matter if you are HODLing or day trading, you already know things people will pay a lot of money to learn later on . It's time to feel good about ourselves.
Remember, todays prices are just a small part of what is to come of crypto. So just do your thing. Trust yourselves, invest in something you think is going to help people in the future and enjoy the ride.
