Launch of the Swiss Real Coin is postponed
The ICO of the cryptocurrency Swiss Real Coin should take place at the latest in the autumn. The Finma has prevented the drawing for the time being.
If everything went according to plan, as of Wednesday, interested investors could have subscribed to a new crypto currency whose makers are located in Switzerland and which has a lot to do with local real estate. One of the central ideas of the Swiss Real Coin (SRC) is that - in contrast to other crypto currencies such as the Bitcoin - there are real values behind it, namely a portfolio of commercial real estate in Switzerland. These are to be acquired with the lion's share of the proceeds from the Initial Coin Offering (ICO), in which at least 30 million and at most 150 million coins are issued at a price of CHF 1 each.
