When I first started learning about crypto and earnings in 2017 shortly after that the infamous bull run started. I got me some crypto and most earnings were from Steem and other platforms which I soon diversified. But the problem always is....
How do you keep up with you actually have and how much it is worth?
Exactly! When you are such a douchebag like I am with these things, you really don't have a clue
I started off super nicely making an Excel sheet with my earnings and what I send it to. But soon the prices were going through the roof and I was making faster transctions than that I was updating the excel sheet. Result -> I had no idea anymore what it all was worth and were it stayed.
Ofcourse then the 2018 bloodbath started and I was such a happy camper that I had stored my earnings into alts (read douchebags and remember...just don't) and it all los 20 times its value minimum that I went into my best tactic

I still have an excel with my complete portfolio in it.
All the value are automatically pulled from coinmarketcap. When I do open the sheet everything is updated.
Last year it was a burden to open it, this year it is more enjoyable!

See that is exactly what I needed actually in my previous excel days. Because it was never up to date it was not very attractive to use. Because of what @connecteconomy says: it is way better to put something in a cloud versus something that will be gone when the phone disappears
Blockfolio is an amazing app i am using it everyday.
Yeah I only found it this week but I am super happy with my new treasure.. userfriendlyness and overview is just really sublime I find!
I have Excel because I <3 Excel, but also I can't lose it.
With Blockfolio, if you lose your phone, you have to type it all into a new phone. Or have they added an export function by now? I am using it, but just to watch, not to input all my transactions.
You can also use cointracking.info (free if you have less than 200 trades).
But for daily checks, Blockfolio is the best indeed. I was very happy about all the green this morning ;)
You have a more than valid point there actually. I am not seeing the export function as yet, byt that would truly be the cherry on top in user friendlyness
It is just so much more fun to check when everything is greenish :)
I also you blockchain just to see what is happening with the coins. But I do trust only on my own excel. Reminds me that I have to make a back up of it!
I also tried some online tracking tools and sites but not of them did gave me what I did want. Also if it is for free, for sure they will collect the information about all portfolios and use the intel for their own profit!
