The prices on each post are marked by US dollar or STEEM dollar?

Can't find the right answer. It could be informative for other steemians too, cause if i earn for example 5 dollars in steem dollar, it's worth about 10 dollar on polo right?

Sort:

The estimated payout is trying to represent US dollars

It depends on the price on Polo. But it sounds right.

Steem Dollars Are like U.S. Dollars. So right now your post says 8.68
Thats in U.S. dollar.
You get paid 75 percent of it. The other 25 goes to use curators who voted for you and such.
When you do the 50/50 Payout, You get half as Steem dollar (Basically US dollar.)
And the other half goes to Steem power.

Thank you for your upvote and the detailed answer @kaylinart :) <3

I asked this question before. And according to the answer I get:
If your post's payout is $100, as the author you get $75.

for 50/50 payout, you get an amount of STEEM equals to USD 37.5 ,
plus 37.5 SBD (this part alone will worth about USD 70 at this moment). So you actually get more than $75 in total.

for 100% pwer up, you get an amount of STEEM equals to USD 75 according to market price.

So, you should choose 50/50 when SBD worth more than $1, and 100%power up if SBD worth less than $1.

Thanks for the indepth info!

I think it's an estimated value.

I've been trying to figure this out as well and can't seem to find a clear answer.

Useful question.

Thank you!!

I get a half of it. SBD on Polo is like 1.98$ now. So, apparently, what you see on potential payouts - is what you get in the payout, if the price of Steem and SBD stays the same.

good to know! thank you! 🌀
