 Hello.  This is my blog series "Crypto Fun Facts."  Here I will talk about interesting facts about the world of cryptocurrencies.  If you enjoy this post, please upvote this post, resteem this post, and follow my account for more awesome facts. 

There are currently (at the time) 4,991 registered cryptocurrencies.

  • There are only 180 world currency according to the UN, which is 27 times less than the number of cryptocurrencies!
  • The first crypto (Bitcoin) was created in 2008, meaning an average of 416 cryptocurrencies were created each year!
  • There have been approximately 450 standardized currencies ever in the history of the world, a minuscule number compared to the number of modern cryptocurrencies.
