One of the largest trading sites in the world has partnered with a crypto exchange

TradingView announced that it has struck up a partnership with the Gemini crypto exchange.

Gemini is the exchange founded and headed by the Winklevoss twins.

You know, the guys who "lost out" on Facebook but took their settlement money and put it into bitcoin before it blew up.

They are doing just fine now.

This announcement likely further establishes their platform for years to come.

What does this partnership mean and why does it matter?

This partnership is very good news for the crypto industry as a whole.

News that isn't really getting the recognition it deserves thus far in my opinion.

TradingView is one of, if not the largest retail trading site in the world.

Traders from all over the world use their tools and charts to trade all sorts of markets.

Now, those same trades can also trade crypto through the Gemini exchange as well:

TradingView also struck a similar partnership with Poloniex last year.

In effect these partnerships opened up crypto to a ton of new investors/traders/users.

And it happened in one full swoop.

Crypto as a whole is benefiting from deals like this...

Investors/tradings/users can now buy and sell crypto directly through the TradingView platform without having to leave the site.

This was a very good move by TradingView and Gemini both and one that helps push crypto along on the road to being able to buy and sell crypto right from traditional brokerage accounts.

To me, this looks like part of that process.

Someday soon investors will be able to buy stocks and crypto and any other asset they wish to invest in all from the same broker and hold em in the same account.

Robinhood is already breaking ground in this regard...

And deals like this help push us along in that direction.
